Debut Theme / large gap between main image and slide carousel on Mobile but not Desktop

Hello,

I am using the Debut theme and am having a problem with my images when viewing only on a Mobile device.  There is a large gab between the main image and the carousel of other images.  The page display perfectly on a Desktop.  There were a few other discussions about this issue with some solutions but they didn't work for me.  Any advice would be appreciated.  Below is screen shot of the issue I am having.

Hi @Joe_Jack

Try this one.

  • From your Shopify admin dashboard, click on "Online Store" and then "Themes".
  • Find the theme that you want to edit and click on "Actions" and then "Edit code".
  • In the "Assets" folder, click on "base.css, style.css or theme.css" file, depending on which file your theme uses to store its CSS styles. At the bottom of the file, add the following CSS code:

@media only screen and (max-width: 749px){
.product-single__photo {
    height: fit-content !important;
}
}

  • And Save.

Hi @Made4uo-Ribe ,

Thank you for your quick suggestion and detailed instructions on how to fix this.  I tried pasting the suggested code in the "style.css" file but it didn't work.  I don't have a "base.css" file but tried pasting it in my "theme.scss.liquid" file and IT WORKED!!!!  You are a genius.

I'm embarrassed to admit this but this has been an issue that went unaddressed for over 3 years.  Thank you for your help!

Sincerely,

Joe Jack
