Default Product section on home page

How do I add the product section on the home page?

In the 'add section' of the home page designer, it would be great if I could add the main product section. 

The default product has its own page that users need to navigate to. I also want to customize the product overview block.

I have a product created already. It has its own product page. But I want to copy the 'product overview' section from its page and paste it on the home page.

wut. setting up and creating a new site on webflow is way more complicated! I can simply copy the code from the product overview page to make a new section in the shopify liquid code. I was just hoping someone had a clear explainer for it.

Usually themes have "Featured product" section exactly for this purpose where you select which product to showcase.

Depending on the theme this section may be very similar to the main product page section or very different -- it's hard to tell without even knowing what theme you're using.

I did try that. The featured product is pretty simple with not much customizing. The main product page has the full setup. More images, price, description, and buy now button.

There is no simple universal way to do it. You'd need to do some liquid coding which will be different depending on your theme.
