Deleting code to get YOTPO reviews on google search

HI all, ive been advised by YOTPO to delete some code on shopify so that my reviews appear in google search.  They also advised that before I did this that I speak with Shopify to confirm that this would not have any adverse effects - Ive tried speaking with shopify but they say theyre not qualified to answer this question.  Anybody else been in this situation? Or can advise?

It would seem its a very easy thing to do, ive found the code etc - im just concerned about deleting it and causing more problems.

You can comment out the code for now instead of removing it and check if this resolves your issue and not cause any other error.
If this works out, make sure to un-comment it if you remove the Yotpo app in future.

The code is almost the same except 1 -2 parameters.

You can even check with app support if they can update the default application/json by adding "aggregateRating" parameter there if this can resolve the issue.
