Display only selected Variant Images - Motion Theme

Currently, I'm using the Motion theme and intend to keep it. I would like to configure it so that only the image of the selected option, such as color, is displayed, while the images of the other options remain hidden. An example of this can be seen in the shop here: https://calitheshop.com/products/phantom-watch.

I would appreciate assistance with this customization.

For info: Savior was able to help me with the request for the product image variants.
He was very open about it and was able to program the setting into my theme within 36 hours.

Welcome to Shopify Community.

Whereas many theme doesn't offer this functionality, I would recommend you to hire a developer at reasonable cost to set this up for you.

I know that you must do this with coding.

but i didnt worked for my theme.

This is such a basic need that Shopify needs to address it. Everyone can't go hiring developers for such small things.

Completely agree with you.
But this feature is available with many themes so I think it must be good if people purchase or install a premium/free theme after checking all the features they want.

Hi @nicosurer I see this is an old issue and I hope you already found the solution for your shop. I would like to share the solution for the people coming from search. If you want to show only relevant variant images in the Motion theme you can use Rubik Variant Images app. For the transparency I am the founder of the app. And you can watch the video where I showed how to use the app.
