Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
I have a hard time figuring out how to display the color of the product in the product image that the customer has picked. For example:
if the customer picked a red t-shirt instead of the white one, the product pictures of the tshirt changes to red from white.
When you select a product and then pick a color, how do you do so the images of the products change, so I can display the selected color of the product the customer has selected?
Hi Kevin,
You can achieve this by creating product options (like "Color") and variants (e.g., "Red T-shirt", "White T-shirt"). Add a unique image for each variant. As such now, when a customer selects a color, the corresponding image will change automatically.
I have added color variants, but they still show the same image, cant seem to find the setting for the unique images for the color variants.
Is it possible if you could attach a screenshot?
Cant find where to select variant setting separately?
Hi @KevinMalmberg, I know that showing all your variant images on product pages, but not the selected variant images, is not good for the customer experience.
Rubik Variant Images app does exactly what you want. You can give it a try: https://apps.shopify.com/rubik-variant-images
