i dont know really which system causes this problem, our shop is connected via an API connector of Channeladvisor...
Problem:
We are getting the same image multiple times hosted & loaded on shopify cdn image network, but with different files names, with added hashcoded -> so different images more or less
so instead of having the same image url for different variant SKU each SKU seems to have own version of that file with a sligthly different url (added hashcode)
We have hosted all images on an external WEBSERVICE via CA
SKU MGA16028 and its child MGA16028 have exactly the same IMAGES in the same IMAGE Position
So image1, should be visible once with a specific URL, but in our cases it visible multiple times with different URL

You just see the image once, due a feature of our Template IMPULSE by ARCHETYPE but its hosted multiple times by shopify see below !

What causes this problem, how can we avoid this problem
It causes a lot of unneeded LOADING in our case

i dnt know how to solve this old story, but its causes massive performance issuse for our customers !
