Empire Theme: How to show subcollections in collections pages?

Hello,

We recently started trying this Empire theme on our new store, and we want to add a subcollection feature to the collection pages. So according to details on their help page (https://support.pixelunion.net/hc/en-us/articles/360026084433#h_01F4VZMXXXRYNR11E7JAZPQFBE), we can have the subcollections display at the top of the page (before the collection products, filters, etc), but we can't figure out how to do this. I've followed the instructions on the help page but the subcollections only show links and no images, in fact, it looks nothing like what they displayed in the "Include subcollections" section of the help page.

Can anybody help?

This image shows how the subcollection is supposed to display in a collection page.

This one shows what I did following instructions on the help page. Notice that the subcollection display only as links without images

Solved my issue.   The "handle" of the collection may not match the collection title.  particularly if you used an import app, the "handle" of the existing collection may be appended with -2, -3 etc.  To view what the existing handle for the desired collection to match,  go to the collection page, scroll down, click on the SEO section. click  to expand, on the bottom it will show you a section that reads "handle" and has a URL. The end of it, (the editable section) is the handle for that collection that needs to be matched up when you create the new sub menu.

hope this helps.
