Empty black section showing on higher resolution screens

I removed the title screen by removing the section all together in CSS

This runs perfectly fine on a 1920x1080 screen

But as soon as I move the browser to a 2560x1440 screen, I get a massive black bar across the page.

How can I fix this?

I've tested it on other screens and the problem seems to only be on screens that are unnecessarily big
