Falsche Version vom Shop online vs im Editor

Hi,

 

we are building our first shopify online shop and are lost with the current issue:

The webshop is ready and already live. But what we see online is not the same version as the one we edit in the  'Theme customize' section. YES we made sure that the correct version is published (the version that is online visible is already deleted) and yes the theme is updated to the latest version (Dawn 13.0.1)

We found out that this has to do with the default setting section.
When we chose Germany (this is were the online shop will be active) than we see the wrong version online.
However, when we change the default setting to any other set up like International, European THAN we do see the correct webshop online.

How do we fix this issue while choosing Germany? And what does the default setting actually mean (this is visible when you click on customize and open the online shop the editor (on the top of the site)

Any help is appreciated
