Filter Background Color

Struggling to find a solution for changing the background color of the drop down menu as pictured on my product grid.  I need the text color to remain white so it can be seen over the picture background, but now I can't see the filter options because the background of the menu is also white.  I've changed it every which way I can.  Any help is appreciated!

Hey @AndreaH3737 

Follow these Steps:

1) Go to Online Store
2) Edit Code
3) Find theme.liquid file

4) Add the following code in the bottom of the file above </body> tag

<style>
select#SortBy option {
    background: black !important;
}
</style>
