Flickity EXTREMELY slow to load first picture in carousel

Hello,

I have the latest version of flickity installed on Taste theme and it's been loading extremely slowly recently, especially on mobile. This mainly affects the main/first picture in the carousel, it takes several seconds for it to load.

Had anyone had a similar issue or know of a fix?
