Footer creates an offset to my button links

I created buttons that jump to a different section on the same page using the Section ID in the URL Field of the button (customizer, not code). After I added the footer the buttons now bring me to the section + exactly the height of the footer so its all over the place. So the footer creates an offset because when I disable the footer the button brings me to the right position again. Here is a video of what is going on.
