Gray Bar on Hero Slideshow + cut off slideshow

Hi! 

I am using the Brooklyn theme for my store. The url is liveinbungalow.com. My slideshow had a gray bar under the video and photo, almost like the video wasn't tall enough. I was given this code and it worked great for the mobile site, but the desktop's slideshow is now almost completely cut off. Is there a code to fix this? Thanks!
