Header menu does not redirect to main category, just subcategories (Prestige theme)

(sorry for blur, I can't let this be public yet) In desktop I have this header with a custom menu, there are categories and one of them have subcategories, if I click the main category then it takes me to the main collection.

But in mobile it does not work like that and I would like it to.

I want to click in the category and go to the main collection for that one, like in the desktop version, but it just hides or displays the subcategories

On mobile, the click event covers the whole menu item, blocking the main category link. Move the event to the plus/minus icon so the category links work like on desktop.
