Help! Can't resent social media image Turbo theme

Hi,

I am trying to reset my sharing social media picture. Currently, when I put a link to my website in Facebook, the picture associated with the website will not even be the ' social sharing image' that I have set up on my Shopify admin. Instead it is the header image in my logo. I have gone to through the regular steps recommended by Shopify. Any suggestions?

I am using the Turbo theme.

You have followed the correct steps for changing your social media sharing image. However, it may take third-party platforms such as Facebook or Instagram a bit longer to update on their side. In this case, we do not have a specific time frame to when this will be updated automatically, it may take up to a full 72 hours for the social sharing image to be updated on other platforms.

When there is a delay it can help to use this tool called the Facebook Debugger. Simply copy the URL of your Shopify product, collection, homepage or article and paste it in the debugger tool - this should then refresh the cache Facebook use to pull the image and should correct the image displaying.

@Iris That partially worked! 

For some reason, when I try to drop the link to my home page, it only will use the logo from the very top of my page, which is imbedded in the header. 

However, using the debugger updated the image that shows on one of the main, important pages. 

Is there some type of code that controls the images that will show on individual pages? (i.e. my home page, my collection page, etc)
