Help - fix website design, agency version didn't turn out right

I signed up with an agency to build a custom website. I'm not happy with the outcome. They built it using the Dawn theme as base but the theme and its original elements look better. This has not been published and I don't intend to.

What I do like that they agency created is the custom footer which has animations and the animations in the header.

I am customising another Dawn theme template using Shopify's website builder.

What I would like is to use the header animation and the entire footer with its animations that the agency created in the new version that I am building. Is it possible to copy the code?  Is It more complex than that? Or do I edit the version they built? The struggle with this is the custom code they've got in there makes it very confusing to make edits and some features don't seem to work.  If I were to hire someone to do this, would it be quick and easy? I am out of budget now so I'm looking for an affordable fix.
