Help Get Rid Of This Boomerang Code!

1 0 0

Please help! My shop was fine. I didnt check it for a few weeks and then I checked it again and noticed this huge code above my announcement bar. I can't find the code anywhere in my site code though. I don't think I added any code to it. I only have 2 apps right now. The email one and one I just added today for memberships so I know it's not the membership one.

The code is this:

"); } else { win._boomrl = function() { bootstrap(); }; if (win.addEventListener) { win.addEventListener("load", win._boomrl, false); } else if (win.attachEvent) { win.attachEvent("onload", win._boomrl); } } doc.close(); } var link = document.createElement("link"); if (link.relList && typeof link.relList.supports === "function" && link.relList.supports("preload") && ("as" in link)) { window.BOOMR.snippetMethod = "p"; link.href = window.BOOMR.url; link.rel = "preload"; = "script"; link.addEventListener("load", promote); link.addEventListener("error", function() { iframeLoader(true); }); setTimeout(function() { if (!promoted) { iframeLoader(true); } }, LOADER_TIMEOUT); BOOMR_lstart = new Date().getTime(); parentNode.appendChild(link); } else { iframeLoader(false); } function boomerangSaveLoadTime(e) { window.BOOMR_onload = (e && e.timeStamp) || new Date().getTime(); } if (window.addEventListener) { window.addEventListener("load", boomerangSaveLoadTime, false); } else if (window.attachEvent) { window.attachEvent("onload", boomerangSaveLoadTime); } if (document.addEventListener) { document.addEventListener("onBoomerangLoaded", function(e) { e.detail.BOOMR.init({ ResourceTiming: { enabled: true, trackedResourceTypes: ["script", "img", "css"] }, }); e.detail.BOOMR.t_end = new Date().getTime(); }); } else if (document.attachEvent) { document.attachEvent("onpropertychange", function(e) { if (!e) e=event; if (e.propertyName === "onBoomerangLoaded") { e.detail.BOOMR.init({ ResourceTiming: { enabled: true, trackedResourceTypes: ["script", "img", "css"] }, }); e.detail.BOOMR.t_end = new Date().getTime(); } }); } })();

I also added photos showing it. One is my live site and the other is my editor. Please help 😕

Hi @azrenia87 Remember if you want help make it easier for people to help you always provide accessible inspectable links.

After figuring out the url from the image I cannot replicate this in chrome browser.

The errored code showing is from boomerang analytics, but the source of the problem may actually be elsewhere causing that code to show.

The screenshots indicate either that invalid code is being added to the theme either from a customization, an app, or possibly from the code that your referencing being broken for some reason like an a/b test or update.

Or even possibly from a browser extension

If you still see this try clearing your browser cache , or a different browser.
