Help to create a MADE TO ORDER label for product photos

Hello

I hope someone can help, I am looking to create a MADE TO ORDER label that goes over product photos so customer can tell at a glance whats in stock or not. I have seen this on other website so believe it should be possible but can't find any options or setting that will allow this. I want it to appear in a similar way to how SALE labels appear on sale items. 

I am hoping that once set up it will automatically be put on products that are tagged as made to order.

You can use the Product Labels&Badges app to do this.

- After installing, navigate to the labels or badges tab and create your "Made to order" label/badge

Label: 

Badge:

- Select the specific tag

- Remember to click save.

This looks like the sort of thing I'm looking for, though I'll be honest I can't really afford to pay for an app at the moment and I'm thinking for now my best option might just be creating a product photo that has MADE TO ORDER written on it.

I had a look through the forum again and I found a solution someone else had given previously, managed to find a simple coding solution that has applied the label for me.  I’m sure the app has better functionality but I only really need this small visual so people can see at a glance whats made to order.
