Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Not sure how it happened, but I added a line of code to change the background of the checkout to white so it wouldn't be transparent. I tried and then deleted the code in multiple spots but none of them worked. I don't remember which spot I did last, but it caused this to happen. How can I fix this an get rid of the big white checkmark that is permanently showing on every page of my website???

Do you mean the cart , Merchants on a regular plan cannot modify the checkout through code.
Being ambiguous with parts of the process just creates more problems.
Restore a theme duplicate or backup if you bothered to make one.
Or try rolling back the specific file
Otherwise install a new copy of the theme and try to copy over the relevant file(s) , or start over.
