Homepage elements on shopify site

Hi 

I could really use some help please as I am feeling very stuck and frustrated. I have a few issues with my shopify site homepage

1. On the editor, if I add elements, such as featured product, and make sure I save the changes, this new element wont appear on my live site.

2. Elements on the editor are in a certain order but are in a different order in my live site. I will attach a screen shot which shows the beige 'Clovello Collections' section is beneath the white collections tab section in the editor but is switched order on the live site

3. the elements in the beige collection tab are different in the editor to the live site. in the editor, the featured collections are 'best sellers, pearls, matching sets...etc' but in the live site, these appear as 'all earrings, necklaces and bracelets....'

I am not very confident with code and have no idea what I am doing, so would need a lot of guidance if this is a coding issue that need to be rectified. Thank you so much in advance to anyone who can help me.
