How can I add 3D model support to my online store?

Hi everyone,

Could I please get help with adding support for 3D models on my store? I know I have to update my theme to be able to preview them but I'd like assistance with it if possible.

@KetanKumar Thanks for your reply, but my issue is that 3D models are not previewing in product pages when I add them.

3D is definitely a great way to enhance your customer experience and potentially increase conversions.

Here are a few options you might consider:

1. Using Shopify's Built-in 3D Model Support Shopify actually has native support for 3D models. You can upload .glb or .usdz files directly to your product media gallery. This allows customers to view your products in 3D within the browser or even in AR on compatible devices.

2. For Creating 3D Models If you don't already have 3D models of your products, you might want to check out Fira (https://apps.shopify.com/fira-ai-video-to-3d-model). Full disclosure - I'm the developer, but it was specifically designed to solve this problem. Fira lets you convert regular product videos or photos into 3D models without needing any 3D modeling skills. Just upload a video of your product, and the AI will create a 3D model that you can add directly to your Shopify store.
