How can I add a responsive testimonial section in the Dawn theme?

I want to add 3 testimonials on my store landing page that adapt to both laptop and mobile format, as of now I'm using a slideshow section to do this but the photos of my testimonials don't adapt for laptop. I'm using dawn theme, but it doesn't have a testimonial section on it.

A quick solution without images is to use a custom-liquid section and the basic code for a quotes  section.

Otherwise it has to be created with additional features.
