How can I add a search bar section with an image in Dawn 13?

Hello All, 
Im trying to add a search bar as a section with the option to have an image behind it. 
Im currently using the latest version of Dawn(13).
I've tried a couple of solutions but I either get errors(Im assuming due to old versions)
Functionally it should work similar to the one at the top.
