How can I add margin/padding to sides Refresh theme?

Hello,

I've been trying to add margin/padding to the sides with grey background colour exactly as shown in the picture below. But haven't been able to do it. (I'm using the Refresh theme)

Step 1: Online Stores > Themes > Edit code

Step 2: Choose file theme.liquid
Step 3: Add code above the tag </body>

    max-width: 1200px !important;
    margin: auto !important;
}

    max-width: 1300px !important;
    margin: auto !important;

}
</style>

Hi @manbru 

It has padding/margin, but it is just the background of your container, not white, so you thought it did not.
