How can I adjust the collection grid on the Effortless theme?

Hi everyone,

My web page is currently using the Effortless theme, and I'm trying to change the collection grid on my homepage, it's currently showing as 4 across and 2 down; I want to increase it to something like 4 across and 8 down. There is not an option to change this in the main editor, so I'm guessing it needs to be done by editing the code, but I can't find where. Any help would be amazing. Thanks in advance.

Just a question, this is featured product right? 

You dont have this buttons in your customize theme? 

If you add more products then it will automatic show more rows.

It's a featured collection. I don't have those buttons to customize it, but that is how I would have done it on my old theme, which is why I'm struggling now.
