How can I adjust the header size in the Dawn theme?

I am trying to reduce the size of the header on the dawn theme.  Does anyone know how to do this. Thank you in advance.

 1. Go to Online Store->Theme-> Edit code

2. Asset->/ base.css  ->paste below code at the bottom of the file.
