How can I alter checkout translations in Shopify?

How can I alter checkout translations in Shopify?

Im trying to change translations on the lables in the checkout. But i cant seem to  find where to do that inside of shopify. Can anyone direct me? See the image for clarification.

In your Shopify admin, go to Settings > Checkout.
Look for the 'Checkout language' section and click on 'Manage checkout language'.
Here, you can make changes to the text for each field on your checkout page.
After making the changes, remember to click 'Save'.

Thank you for the tip. I found this sections but could not locate the text boxes to change the translations.

 

The theme i use now is not published yet, could that has something to do with it?

I installed the Translate and adapt app. But when i do changes it does not display. The theme is not published and maybe that is why the changes does not display?

Start from basics, review the free manual:

Review settings: 

https://admin.shopify.com/store/STOREMYSHOPIFYNAME/themes/THEMEID/language?category=checkout+%26+system

 

Generally, If you go right to the app and not through a theme to a translation app.

Then through checkout for the published live theme, without using a preview url, then changes you make in the app should reflect in the checkout.

 

Otherwise make sure to try and use the theme preview before going to checkout.

 

Double check that you are editing the correct fields you assume are for checkout and not some other area.

 

Note: If you are using some service or app that replaces the checkout you need to consult that services support directly.
