How can I change the default currency on my free theme?

Hello Shopify Community!

I'm having a trouble with the changing the currency of my free theme. I'm currenly working on launching a new website(free theme), however it keeps showing USD on it. 

My store currency setting is in KRW(Korean Won) but my website is kept showing USD and my customers are confused with the price which led me to abandoned checkouts. 😞

Does anyone know how to change the default currency setting of the free theme on Shopify?

Yes. From your main Shopify admin dashboard, go to 'Settings' then click on 'Store Details'. Scroll down a bit to 'Store Currency' and change it to Korean Won.

My default currency setting is in KOREAN WON lol

It displays in USD when people are purchasing my products, however when they reach to Checkout it converted to Korean Won

Ah, I see. At the 'store currency' settings, select the 'change formatting' link and change the currency format to KRW. Let me know if that worked.
