How can I change the default URL in my Shopify admin?

When I signed up to shopify, I was given a random store name (ac3cb8.myshopify.com) as I didn't have one at the time. Now my store is complete, I have a custom domain, a store name - everything. I connected my domain and changed my store name. However, everytime I access shopify admin, I still have the random url at the top. Is there anyway I could change that so it only displays my store name? I want to get rid of the random url completely

Thank you for reaching out to the Community! I'm happy to provide some assistance with domains, to ensure this gets resolved. 

To share some insight, your online shop was given a myshopify.com URL when you first signed up for Shopify. This URL has a few different functions that are necessary to keep your online shop running smoothly. By default, this web address is where customers go to find your online shop but can be changed by purchasing a custom domain. For more information on this, you can check out our Domains Documentation as it touches on this further. 

As you have successfully purchased and connected a custom domain, customers will see saffiastore.com when browsing your online shop. The myshopify.com URL however, will remain internally as it's used for accessing Support and Signing In to your shop. While I can completely understand how this may not be ideal, the myshopify.com URL is unable to be completely removed from the shop.

Thank you @Blair  for your response. I don't mind the "myshopify.com" part of the URL for internal use. What I meant was the  "ac3cb8" part before myshopify.com. For some reason I can still see "ac3cb8" even after changing my store name to Saffia.

Is there anyway I can completely get rid of the "ac3cb8" and just have it say saffiastore.myshopify.com instead? Because everytime I access my admin it shows "ac3cb8.myshopify.com" and not "saffiastore.myshopify.com"

Thank you for the prompt response, as I'm happy to provide some clarification. 

When you first signed up for Shopify, you were given a myshopify.com URL by default. The myshopify.com URL for your shop specifically, is ac3cb8.myshopify.com and cannot be changed and/or removed as it has a few different functions. For example, this URL is used whenever accessing Support or Signing In to your shop. 

While I can certainly understand how that may not be ideal, a custom domain can be used to ensure customers see a different web address when searching and accessing the storefront. As you have successfully done this, saffiastore.com will be seen by customers and ac3cb8.myshopify.comwill be used internally.

Hello Blair, I am also experiencing this same issue, and it is saying in my order status section that I am using a default URL which its prompting me to change in my domain section... however.. I cannot change nor delete it.. so, how does one get their purchased domain name in the checkout section? or anywhere that may require personalization instead of random numbers?
