How can I change the URL handle of policy pages on my website?

Hey, I need to change the URL of policy pages (refunds, TOS, privacy, about us, etc). My website is in Spanish and the URLs are in English. As far as I know, there is no option to translate those handles. How can I do this editing the code? Is it even possible? I need to do this.

Hi @zelker ,

If you will have only Spanish as a language in your shop, then in the future, just make every title of a page in Spanish, and the handle of the URL will be in Spanish too. 

If you already wrote the title of the page in English and you want to change the handle into Spanish, just scroll down to 'Search engine listing preview' and click on 'Edit website SEO' then at the very bottom you will be able to change the handle.

If you will have multiple languages and you want a different handle for each of the pages, then you will have to check the translation apps and see if they offer page handle translations ( which I think they should do ).

This isn’t working for me. My website is only in Spanish, but the handles
are not changing because I can’t change the titles of the policies pages. I
need to change the URL handle of the Policies pages, not regular pages. Is
there any way to do this?

Ok, so do you mean that you want to change the title of legal pages that you fill in from the Settings > Legal section? The ones that show up on the checkout page? If so, then head to your Online Store > Theme Name > Actions > Edit Languages. Then click on Checkout & System and find Privacy Policy etc. Then just fill in the title there.

I’m more worried about the style of the page. Policy pages are narrow and
that’s what I’m looking for 😅 is there a way to add that template to
regular pages?

I have the same problem. My website is in french yet the URL handle of the Policies pages are in english. 
For exemple: https://frettdesign.ca/policies/privacy-policy
I would like to have /politiques/politique-de-confidentialité

Is there a way to do it?

Hi I did what your said but the url still stays refund-policy even if I changed it in the language settings. Any other way? Thx

This solution didn't work for me. In the Edit Language section I changed the different blocks with terms of service etc. in it to the definition in my country. The URL doesn't change though, and stays:

www.example.com/policies/terms-of-service

same goes for:

https://www.example.com/policies/privacy-policy

https://www.example.com/policies/shipping-policy

https://www.example.com/contact-information

They all are saying for policy page link change, you even not read the problem and send this video. its not our solution,

we want to change the policy pages link into different languages, like I want to change on to Spanish.
