How Can i change which of the variant prices displays on the collection page?

Hi, I am using Fuel themes North. My products, dressmaking fabrics, each have 2 variants, one of them being a $1 sample. How can I stop the $1 sample being the price that displays on the collection page as visitors have to get as far as the product page to see the price. Any advice would be appreciated!
