Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hello there
we currently offer "Free Shipping" over $99.
We also offer Buy1Get1 on few products.
When in the cart , if a customer adds 2 products (under Buy1Get1 offer), he gets free shipping. For e.g. of a customer added $75 worth 1 products and another product of $65 - he is getting free shipping. Seems the cart is calculating $75 + $65 = $ 140 as sub-total and offers free shipping. And then offers Buy1 Get1 free.
Ideally the calculations should be done on the "Total" value of the cart. How to fix this
Hey @preetsumit
Discount prices are not visible for the checkout math. Even on Shopify's own platform. The system reads the products base price and applies the logic that way.
Unfortunately, there is no way around it. You either will have to lower your free shipping threshold to try and catch Buy1Get1, or have all your discounted items ship for free (most likely).
I hope that helps.
Thanks,
Chelsey
