How can I create a photo gallery in my blog posts?

Hi!

I run a fashion brand and we do lots of photoshoots. I have created a blog for our photoshoots and wanted to post a new post every time we have a shoot.

I want to add a gallery of images to these blog posts.

I can't find any good way to do this. The writing area in the blog area is not user-friendly, with no way to format and edit the images so they sit nicely across the page.

I tried creating a table and putting all of the images in the table but you could see the black table lines so that didn't look very good.

I would love any help on the best (free) way to achieve this!

You're basically telling her to learn how to code. None of the gallery apps let you create a blog gallery inside "create post" where the Rich Text Editor is. I've been searching and as a 20 year veteran developer - I should think it's standard as far as even basic CMS systems have this.

The short answer is yes you can. I have added my own custom gallery to my blog posts using Ella's built in image slider and custom metafields for my posts. Unfortunately this isn't quick and it's not ideal for everyone but it is a workaround.
