How can I create a picture grid on a collections page using Dawn theme?

Im trying to add some regular pictures on one of my collections pages. I It seems the only way to add pictures to the pages (Im using Dawn theme) is by adding one of the given sections or by editing the page from Products>Collections. Theres no appropriate section (like featured collection, collage...) that I can use for just pictures and when I try to edit the collection page from Products>Collections its really hard to use and it just looks bad. Is there any way I can put photos in a grid form on the page??
