How can I delete the Laybuy payment method from my site?

How can I remove Laybuy payment method, I have removed the app and took it off the website but it’s still showing underneath all products😭

I have the same issue and am unable to find the solution. Any advice welcome.

Thanks for posting here in the Community! I'd be more than happy to help you get to the bottom of this issue. As I understand it, although the app has been uninstalled, it is still appearing on your online store. 

If you want to remove the functionality that the app is putting on the storefront, simply removing the app from the Apps page in the Shopify admin isn't enough. In most cases, although the app has been deleted via the admin, there is leftover script in the theme which causes the app to still appear on the storefront. This is because some apps modify the theme of your online store. Some apps require additional uninstallation steps before you remove the app from your store. I did check the app out on our app store here for additional steps on removing it from the storefront however was unsuccessful. The next best step would be to get in touch with the app developers here at this link and request the app be removed from the entirety of your storefront.

Hi I'm having the same problem, this answer was a year ago so I'm just asking if anyone has been able to identify the script that needs removing? I pretty sure it's a few lines in the Theme.liquid

I've finally found how to do it manually yourself! Go to edit code, into Templates, there are two Laybuy.liquids delete them both. Then go into Theme.liquid and delete line 194. It's gone from my store!

Got to you app in your store scroll to bottom and look for this below

click on Develop app from your store 

it will take you to App Development page from there you should be able to delete the app

Hello, I had this issue for months and I decided to have a goal on the Edit Code and I did it :). Differently than others suggested here, I fould two </>laybuy.helper under the >assets folder on the code. I deleted both, previewed the website and GONE 🙂
