How can I display discounts on product SKU images?

Hello, 

I'm new to Shopify and I'm looking to set up my products. 

I have few inquiries regarding discounts and how they are displayed on the sku image itself.

1. Is it possible for discount to be displayed on the product sku image like the screenshot below?

2. If possible, where would the discount blurb be displayed? (e.g. top right corner) Or I'm able to configure the specific location through CSS.
