Shopify themes, liquid, logos, and UX
Hi, I have a dropdown menu with heading 'Info' that includes pages on Delivery, About Us, and an FAQ.
I can add an FAQ section to the page, which I'm happy with, but then it shows on all pages. Is there a way around this? i.e. can I hide it on the Delivery and About Us pages, and only show it on FAQ??
I'm sure I'm being really dim.
Hey Mungoandbear, could you give a screenshot of what you're referring to?
Hi,
I have created three pages: Delivery, Info, FAQ - which each just have a small amount of introductory text. When I go to 'Customise', I can insert an FAQ block, but it shows on all my pages, not just on the page where I want the FAQ's. I'm sure I'm just being very thick, but I can't work out how to get around this. Thanks for looking.
Ok, I understand your problem, you need to create a new Page template. To create it you need to do it in the theme editor, if you don’t know how use these instructions: https://help.shopify.com/en/manual/online-store/themes/theme-structure/templates?shpxid=fbbda51b-B03...
Once you add it change the page template selected for the FAQs, I highlighted it in the screenshot attached. All the best with it!
You are on the right track
but for this you would have to create e new page templates
to do so go into the theme editor and create a another tempalte ( 3 for each)
then create the pages and assign the templates
then you can add in the sections and they will not reflect on all the other pages
