How can I edit individual pages on my site without affecting others?

Hi, I have a question. I made 4 pages on my site (About Us, Order Now, etc.) and every time I change one the others change too. I saw that this question has been asked before, and apparently the only way to fix it is to go in there and change the code? This cannot be the only solution. Does anyone know how to make an individual page? Thanks.

Thank you for the screenshots @KS16! That definitely helps me better understand.

If you are adding in the content through the THEME EDITOR then you are actually changing the page template being used for all pages on that template.

In the drop down menu at the top of the theme editor is the option to create additional templates for pages. You can make each page even more unique by altering the base template for it.

You can learn more about the theme template editor here: Templates · Shopify Help Center

To edit and add your page content is actually done through the PAGES section of your store admin. You would add the title, which would populate in the title field on the page template and then the body content which would go into the main area of the page.

You can learn more about the page content editor here: Pages · Shopify Help Center

Let me know if that makes sense! If not, I'll make a quick screen recording showing what I am referring to.

Thank you for your quick response! So under Menus, I have all of my pages under the Main Menu so they show up in the header. Does this make them link together?

Are you having Canonical tag issue? Have developed one plugin for this. No need to change theme code or page code each time.

Hi @KS16

Could you provide a bit more context on what is changing on the pages? If you could share a few screenshots of the changes you are making to the one page and how it is affecting the other page?

This would really help all of us in troubleshooting this. Thank you!

Screenshot (815).pngScreenshot (818).pngScreenshot (819).png    Here is the first screenshot. I'm at the Local Delivery page, which is blank.

I click over to the Farmer's Market Pre-order page, which is also blank.

I head back to Local Delivery and insert some text.

The same text appears on the Farmer's Market Pre-order page.

Gotta say, whoever made this feature, truly made things so much harder for Shopfy users. The fact that you cant just go to each page and just edit for THAT page is ridiculous. Shopfy, please change this cumbersome feature.
