How can I edit the breadcrumb structure in Spark theme?

Hi!

We are using Spark theme on our site. The only editable option on the breadcrumbs is to show them or hide them. We want to be able to change the structure a bit. We want to change the navigational menu of the Breadcrumbs. We believe it automatically connects the menu selected for the home page but we want to choose another menu for the breadcrumbs navigation.

Also some of the products (even thought they are included in the collections) are not showing breadcrumbs of their own collection but shown as Home > X Product only.

Oh and breadcrumbs are only showing on the product related pages but we want to be able to see them on all pages such refund policies, blogs etc.

Any developer might help? Or what kind of solution you suggest?

You are correct that the Spark theme only offers the option to show or hide the breadcrumb feature with no customization options. While I'm not able to help directly with a solution (hopefully someone else can), I can let you know that in your theme code there is a file called breadcrumbs.liquid in the Snippets folder which I'm thinking is where you would most likely need to edit. I would also encourage you to add this as a feature request on our Public Feature Request Board, we would really appreciate the feedback for our developers. 

Alternatively, you can look for an app in the Shopify App Store that could add this functionality to your store. I don't have any specific apps to recommend but I do advise you to test the app to ensure compatibility with the theme before purchasing.
