How can I insert additional text in my website footer's email signup box?

Only way to do this is by making custom coding changes to your "footer.liquid" template within your theme's coding templates. You'd need to find the lines of coding responsible for the footer, and then add your text via HTML in the correct spots.

This one is a little harder to help you with via the forums, without access to your store and theme's coding.
