How can I link 3D models to variants in the Dawn theme?

Hello All,

We have to upload 3d models to our product and link each variant to a particular model since each model is uploaded with different colours. 

Can someone please help us to showcase how can we link the 3d models to variant as it is only allowing us to link images to variants and not 3d vectors.

Is there any workaround?

Any help is highly appreciated.
