How can I move thumbnail images to the left of the main image on a Dawn theme product page?

How to bring the thumbnail images to left side of the main image in a product page(Dawn theme)? Tried applying the solution mentioned in " https://community.shopify.com/c/shopify-design/align-product-image-thumbnails-to-left-of-main-image-... but the thumbnail appeared vertically below the main image instead of being on the side of main image.
