Regards your concern, i checked on the Studio theme. Currently, this theme filter function won't meet your requirements. There are 2 ways for you to achieve it :

1. Use the same theme as the example website that you have.

2. Use a 3rd party app for Filter functionality. You can use this keyword to search on the Shopify app store: Product Filter or collection filter.
