Follow these Steps:
1) Go to Online Store
2) Edit Code
3) Find theme.liquid file
4) Add the following code in the bottom of the file above </body> tag
<style>
.product-option dt {
display: none !important;
}
</style>

@jd888 I am not sure what theme you are using since you didn't mention that. I solved this in the default Dawn theme and the process should be similar to other themes as well. Basically you need to add this CSS code to your theme:
td.cart-item__details .product-option dt {
display: none !important;
}

Yes I am using Dawn Theme. I have tried adding that to base CSS and it did not work for me.
Yes I have done this but it does not seem to work for me.
