How can I set up specific color options for one material variant?

Hello, 

I have a question concerning the products variants option in Shopify.

I want to sell a product that has 4 different Material variants. For one of the Materials, there also should be the possibility to choose between two colors. However, at the moment, when I want to set this up, there is always for every Material the option to chose colors. 

Is there a way to like to create options based on other options? like this:

Wood 

Metal - Black/White

Rubber

Hi,

It is not possible to set color only for one material. You can only add two extra variants:

Metal - Black

Metal - White

And you will have 4 variants:

Wood

Metal - Black

Metal - White

Rubber
