How can I stop the 'add to cart' button taking customers straight to checkout?

Hello. I have added the following code to show 'add to cart' button under my product grids. I added this in snippets  ->  product-card-grid.liquid

<form method="post" action="/cart/add">
<input type="hidden" name="id" value="{{ product.variants.first.id }}" />
<input type="submit" value="Add to cart" class="btn" />
</form>

However, whenever I add the product to the cart, it takes me directly to the cart checkout page. I want customers to add to cart but to remain on the same page, and then manually go to the checkout themselves. How can I do that? I am using the Debut theme.
