Hello, this may sound a bit confusing at first but I had a good idea for my website design and I am having trouble creating it.

I came across Zara recently from my girlfriend, and after seeing their website I got a good idea for how I wanted my products to be listed on their given collection pages.

https://www.zara.com/us/en/woman-new-in-l1180.html?v1=2419517&initialBlockId=HOME3

This link specifically, see how all the images are just covering the screen and go on and on, and when you click on the product you like it brings you to that product page. I had the same idea but a lot smaller pictures and more organized, but still the same concept of Picture of product you like -> individual product page. I am having trouble recreating this, though.

I have not strayed away from the default Shopify template just yet but I plan to buy one off the store. I don't know if this is just a default template limitation. I almost settled on "Drop".

I have bought multiple sections from the Section Store but I am having trouble splitting the two template pages. For example, putting an image grid that works the way I want it to on my women's shirts page also makes that same section and images go to my men's bottoms.

Does anyone know how to do this? Or if there is a specific template or section I need? A specific way to code my website? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

This would require some custom code to achieve. It would be best to settle on a theme first, as the code may not simply transfer between different themes depending on how they handle the collections list.

In Dawn theme for example the Collections page renders each product from the card-product snippet, so I'd recommend coding a custom collections page using a duplicate of the card-product code to make the necessary changes as editing the original card-product may affect's its use elsewhere on the site. With a custom collections page, you could then specify which products to display using the Theme Template drop down found in each product.

We could help you achieve this if you're not comfortable writing the code yourself, feel free to send us a message and we can discuss further.

Hope this helps
