How do I add multiple blog posts to the blog post block in theme editor?

I'm using dawn theme.It seems like this should be simple but it only seems to allow me to add one blog to the blog post block in the editor. I have it set to show 3 blogs in 3 columns but I don't see how I can add more than 1 blog.

Are you trying to show blog posts from different blogs in the same section?

Apparently I had them all set as separate blogs. I didn't realize the difference. Your answer helped me figure it out. Thank you!

I had each blog post as a whole separate blog. I didn't realize they all need to be attributed to one blog (like news). Once I changed the posts all to "News"  blog name, they all showed up.
