How do I edit the Drop down arrows on the menu

Hello, for my website the drop down arrows are really have to find especially when your looking at the webstie on your phone, is there a way to change the type of arrows to a thicker shape and also get them closer to the section name? I added a photo to give an idea of how it currently looks, they are extremly far away from its corresponding name and  so thin they are easy to miss.

can you try this code

1. Go to Online Store->Theme->Edit code
2. Asset->/styles.scss.liquid->paste below code at the bottom of the file.

So I tried to follow your steps but it didn't really do anything, so I went ahead and played around with the code and was able to mka ethe arrows a lot bigger. I still haven't been able to figure out how to make them a lot thicker, and move them closer to the words. Is there a way to do that?
