How do I get rid of white rectangle in my continue shopping screen? Dawn theme.

This white rectangle is not going away and I have seen plenty of people have this problem and everyone says "copy this code and paste it before <body> in theme.liquid" but every code I've tried wont work. Please help!

Follow these Steps:

1) Go to Online Store
2) Edit Code
3) Find theme.liquid file

4) Add the following code in the bottom of the file above </body> tag

<style>
cart-items {
    background: black !important;
}
.cart__warnings * {
    color: rgb(203 178 106) !important;
}
main#MainContent {
    background: black !important;
}
</style>
